Our Story:

Chabad of Greater Orlando was founded in 1984 by Rabbi Sholom Ber & Devorah Leah Dubov with a vision of creating a welcoming center for Jewish life, learning, and community throughout Central Florida.

Over the past four decades, Chabad has grown into a vibrant and impactful organization serving individuals and families across the Greater Orlando area. Through educational programs, holiday celebrations, pastoral care, community services, and outreach initiatives, Chabad has touched countless lives and strengthened Jewish identity for generations.

Guided by the belief that every Jew is precious and deserving of a warm, welcoming community, Chabad continues to provide support for those in need through volunteer initiatives, senior services, meal distribution, hospital visitation, and educational opportunities for all ages.

In 2023, Rabbi Dovid and Blumi Dubov joined Chabad of Greater Orlando to help expand and strengthen its growing impact across the region. Together with the founding leadership, they continue to build upon Chabad’s enduring mission: creating a vibrant Jewish future rooted in love, education, service, and community.

Today, Chabad of Greater Orlando remains dedicated to enriching Jewish life and serving as a home for every Jew throughout Central Florida.
