Wowweee! What an amazing time had by all!! Our children learned all about Chanukah in this amazing out of the box way:) From making and wiring their own Driedel bot to building a giant smores Menorah, which we attempted to light:) Thank you to all those who chose to celebrate with us on the first night of Chanukah! Winter wonderland for Chanukah!! Teaming up with Chabad Lubavitch of North Orlando how could the eight night of Chanukah get any better?! The night started off with some ice skating at the RDV Complex. After that we all joined together to light the Menorah with Rabbi Sholom Dubov, sang some traditional Chanukah tunes, ate some delicious Latkes, doughnuts and last but not least warm soup! WOW!! The turn out was amazing!! Over 500 people openly celebrating what Chanukah means to them!! From the stilt Dreidel guy, to the acrobatic show, to our dear friend Myrtle Rutberg (who happens to be 106 years old) leading the lighting of the grand Menorah, everyone had a spectacular time! Special thank you to Leah Dubov and Jeff Berger for making this happen!! Thank you to all those who helped out and put their vision into action!! Happy Chanukah!
Best. Sunday. Ever.!! The kids had so much fun learning about how chocolate coins are made and actually made their very own!! Then each kid became an electrician for the afternoon wiring their very own car menorahs!! Last but not least everyone enjoyed freshly homemade Latkes!! Enjoy and Happy Chanukah!!!!
Happy Chanukah!! Wow! Sunday Fun-day was a blast, with Menorah making, Dreidel decorating and cookie baking! Rabbi Amram then showed us that making olive oil is real tough work! Every child went home with their very own custard doughnut and real Chanukah Gelt!! Can't wait until the next one!!
